Spite & Malice App Reviews

We love this game but every time we play peer to peer, we either get connection lost or we simply cannot connect as there is a long list of ipads listed and there seem to be issues to find the right one. If this issue would be resolved, it would be great. Playing alone or against the computer remains the best way so far.

Not challenging enough. Ive seen the opponent use a wild card when the card she needs is available on her discard pile. That just seems silly.

Admittedly addicting and fun to pass the time but even on the hardest option the opponent cant seem to figure it out. It needs achievements. E.g. you win and your opponent still has a large number of cards you get some recognition. Or milestones for good stats. Or for large runs of cards placed.

It should be obvious from the name, but the only spiteful one is me! My opponent feeds me his cards to the detriment of his game. I gave it 4 stars because its a good time waster, but its getting boring. Not challenging enough...

Love this game! Fun to play and works flawlessly. Definitely worth getting! Youll love it, too. Only problem is that it is addicting :)

Playing on the hard, I find the computer will put the cards that I need there, out there. I need more of a challenge, For instance I would never put a card out there if I knew the computer needed it.

Good game but serious connectivity issues when going peer to peer.. Game centre just arbitrarily ends the games... Lots of potential, but for a paid app its disappointing.

Addictive keeps you coming back

Sooooo very disappointed in this game now! I used to LOVE this game however it now has pop-up adds on it. I am so angry that I paid for this app and now all of a sudden there are ads popping up asking for my email address. This happened a while ago and I contacted the developers and it went away but now its back... I want my money back !!! I shouldnt have to deal with ads for a paid app!!!!!

I enjoy Spite and Malice for most part, but play it less now after the upgrade which has raised the difficulty at winning. Frankly its frustrating when playing against a computer stacked deck. When playing strategically the wins should be higher than statistically here on medium.... even hard. Kind of ridiculous some games where the AI burns through the deck before getting a turn.

I loved this game and played it often. But, ever since the latest iOS update, the game constantly freezes and crashes. Please fix this bug!!!

Most games in the app store cost a couple of bucks but you want $11.99 for 1 level? Screw you guys.

You call $12 a hot deal? After already spending way too much money to purchase this game, you are charging another $12?! That is one of the biggest ripoffs on the AppStore.

Spite .... good at first when they get you hooked (and your money)... then a piece of crap later when you can only play one or two games at a time AND it freezes after every one game played! NO stars for this app (could not send without at least one star - see? another nefarious ploy for acceptance tsk, tsk) :-(

I purchased this a few weeks ago. It is no more difficult than the regular hard category. It was a real ripoff. They still make the same mistakes as the did in the regular game! I would like to have it removed and get my money back.

So, $2.29 for the game then $12 for the patch update.... Yea, OK! ----- Sigh... Another update that just doesnt make sense. I dont like the new layout of the card placements! And every time I load the game it has to tell me there is a new menu! Other games from trivial are similar... Besides the poor interface, the games are good.

This current version is very glitchy and prone to freezing. I have to reboot my phone to get the app to unfreeze. I hope improvements are coming soon!

Have 5 games that I started that do arrive at friends, I cannot delete the games even tho I have tried Forfeiting. HELP

I absolutely love this game. I think that this version of the game is the best on the App Store. That being said, I, too find the game glitchy and that it is prone to freezing. It can get quite frustrating. But all in all I still love it despite that! Also as an aside, did you guys notice that Facebook is spelt wrong in the app? Its spelt "Faceboook" in there with that extra o. I never noticed it until now!

So addicting I cant stop playing it. Definitely recommended even for $2.79. I even unlocked the spiteful hard level for $5 bucks. Totally worth it!
